To dream of a hero represents recognition for an outstanding achievement or facing difficult obstacle. Feeling that you've "saved the day." Having done something that nobody was could have done or that nobody else was prepared for. Being a hero may also reflect feelings of bravery or courage. It may also mean you've done something really well.

Admiration for superior skills, abilities, or principles. Standing up to fear when nobody else will. Setting a good example.


Rescue

To dream that you are being rescued or rescue others represents an aspect of yourself that has been neglected or ignored. You are trying to find a way to express this neglected part of yourself. Alternatively, it symbolizes an subconscious cry for help. Perhaps you are too proud in your waking life to ask for assistance.

In particular, to dream that you rescue someone from drowning indicates that you have successfully acknowledged certain emotions and characteristics that is symbolized by the drowning victim.

To dream of rescuing someone represents feelings about an urgent need to be spared from neglect, danger, or situations that leave you feeling overwhelmed. Feeling desperate to escape a problem. Alternatively, it may represent waking life situations where you are carrying someone through a bad time or sparing someone trouble. Taking a stand or stepping up. Burdens you desperate to escape. Keeping something going, doing everything possible, feeling like a hero. Cheering someone up or being a good influence. Saving yourself.

Positively, rescuing someone in a dream may reflect situations where you are making do or making important sacrifices to solve urgent problems. Feeling helped or spared from a difficulty. Alternatively, it may reflect feelings about yourself providing help to others. Enduring someone difficult to help someone. Trying to do as much as possible for someone. Negatively, rescuing someone in a dream may reflect your desperation to continue bad habits. Giving help to bad people or people who don't deserve help. Helping people too much. Example 4: A woman dreamed of seeing a friend needing to be rescued. In waking life she felt that she had to do as much as possible to cheer her friend up.

Example 5: A young man dreamed of wanting rescue his girlfriend. In waking he had broken up with her and was beginning to regret the decision. He wanted desperately to get back with her.

Example 6: A woman dreamed of seeing people being saved from a tornado. In waking life she was experiencing herself resolving a serious disagreement between family members.

Example 7: A woman dreamed of trying to rescue a dog and baby from drowning. In waking life she was trying very hard to save her failing business in tough economic times.

Dreaming of being rescued from any danger, denotes that you will be threatened with misfortune, and will escape with a slight loss. To rescue others, foretells that you will be esteemed for your good deeds.


Sale

To dream that something is on sale represents opportunities that are readily available to you. Alternatively, it indicates that you are underestimating yourself in some area.

To dream of a sale or that a certain object is on sale represents opportunities or experiences that are easier than they were previously. A barrier or obstacle has been reduced. A situation where less is being asked of you to achieve the same goal or objective.

To dream that you put something on sale may reflect lowered expectations or just wanting to get something done quickly.

Negatively, putting something on sale may reflect how you are not believing in yourself enough or are underestimating yourself. It may also reflect feelings of desperation.

If one sees himself as a prisoner being sold in a slave market in a dream, it means honor if the buyer is a woman, and difficulties if the buyer is a man. The higher the price he is auctioned for, the better or worse is his luck. In a dream, the more loss the buyer incurs, the better it is for the traded subject and vice- versa. There is also a difference between seeing oneself being auctioned and being sold. Being auctioned in a dream means evil. To sell means to part with. In a dream, the buyer is the seller and the seller is a buyer. Selling means giving preference and value to the merchandise. If what is being sold is worldly, the preference is then given to one’s benefits in the hereafter. Selling in a dream also means exchanging one condition with another. However, bartering in a dream means to exchange the benefit of things, or to share them. If for example one sees himself in a dream trading something of no value for something precious, and if he is a warrior, it means that he will die as a martyr. The number 2 in a dream represents conflict. Two opposing sides struggling against each other. When you see it in a dream it represents a conflict in your life, or in the way you think or feel. Different ideas, beliefs or choices struggling with each other. Arguments or trouble accomplishing goals.

Example: A young girl dreamed of seeing her mother give birth to 2 babies that look just like her. In waking life her mother was pregnant with a second child and the young girl was worried that her parents wouldn't treat her as special once the new baby arrived. The 2 babies in the dream most likely reflected the conflicting feelings of jealousy she worried she would expect once the new child was born.
