Dreams

To dream that you are dreaming or daydreaming signifies your emotional state. You are excessively worried and fearful about a situation or circumstance that you are going through. Dreaming that you are dreaming also serves as a layer of protection from what you are feeling. The dream within a dream allows you to experience certain difficult feelings that may otherwise be too painful to confront if you were directly dreaming the scenario.

To dream that you are dreaming represents a realization that something in your life wasn't as serious as you thought it was.

Positively, this reflects worries that are overblown. You may have been afraid or concerned about something and a life situation proved that you were overreacting.

Negatively, a dream within a dream can point to disappointments, letdowns, or something you thought was wonderful not turning out the way you thought it would.

Story

To write a story in your dream represents your creativity and imagination. Alternatively, it signifies feelings that you are unable to verbally express or communicate openly. You are trying to convey your emotions through the story.

To tell or read a story in your dream indicates that there is some life lesson or moral that you need to learn or recognize.

Recurring Dreams

To have recurring dreams points to unresolved issues, negative thinking patterns, unhealthy behaviors, or unexpressed emotions in your waking life.

Positively, recurring dreams may reflect your life purpose or a phase you are going through.

Document the symbols that show up the most in your recurring dreams to help pinpoint the problem.

Storyteller

To see or be a storyteller in your dream suggests that you need to hold onto the past and learn from it. You need to appreciate tradition and the lessons of the past.

In a dream, a storyteller may represent the Imam of a mosque, or the Khat’ib who delivers the Friday sermon. A storyteller in a dream also may represent one’s livelihood, or intestinal and bowel problems, or he could represent travels. If the stories are new, then they mean disturbances in one’s life. If they are stories of chivalry, then they represent a war. A pleasant story one tells to a king, or to man of authority in a dream represents wealth, or great profits which are distributed equitably. As for a merchant, hearing a pleasant story in a dream represents easy and quick profits from his business, and for a craftsman, it represents a sizeable contract, or an important new account.
