2 Two

Two stands for balance, diversity, partnership, marriage cooperation, soul, or receptivity. It can also symbolize double weakness or double strength. The world is seen as being made up of dualities and opposites, as in the male and female, mother and father, light and dark, heaven and hell, yin and yang, etc.


22 Twenty Two

Twenty-Two denotes your mental capacity and knowledge. It also indicates that you need to be more goal-oriented and practical.

The number thirty-two implies that you are emotionally numb.

Forty-two relates to the attraction of opposites.


Bound

To dream that you are bound or tied up represents your need to be free from some relationship or situation. According to Freud, this dream may be an indication of repressed sexual fantasy.

To dream or being bound or tied up may reflect feelings of obligation that is beyond your control. You want free from a situation or relationship. It may also reflect of restrictions or limitations being put on you.


Wheelchair

If you do not use a wheelchair in your waking life and dream that you are in a wheelchair, then it suggests that you need to stop depending on others. A situation or relationship has made you feel helpless. Alternatively, a wheelchair indicates that you are literally letting others push you around. You need to start standing up for yourself.

If someone is able-bodied in real life, but you dream that they are in a wheelchair, then it suggests that he/she is in need of your help. They may be afraid to ask you directly and have been dropping hints which your subconscious may have picked up on.

To dream of a wheelchair represents emotional or psychological dependency. Something you think you need or feel you can't function without. A situation may have left you feeling lost, powerless, or impotent. Something in your life that you may feel helpless or depressed without. It may also reflect something you have difficulty letting go of believing isn't important.

A wheelchair is a sign that you can't do something on your own or that you are dependent on certain factors in order to function. It may also point to situational requirements in order to feel safe.

Example: A man dreamed of seeing himself in a wheelchair. In real life he felt he couldn't function at work if a woman he liked wasn't going to be working there anymore. The wheelchair may have reflected the man's dependency on the woman to function at work.

Example 2: A woman dreamed of being in a wheelchair that she felt she didn't need. In waking life she was wearing a wig due to side-effects of chemo. She felt she only needed her wig around strangers to feel comfortable. The wheelchair may have reflected her feelings about needing the wig to function socially.

Example 3: A young man dreamed of his girlfriend being in a wheelchair. In waking life he got into a huge argument with his girlfriend. Since she was so angry at him he felt he couldn't have a functioning relationship with her unless he did whatever she wanted to keep her happy. The wheelchair in this case may have reflected his feelings about the need to make enormous efforts to keep his girlfriend happy to make the relationship function at all.


Two

The number 2 in a dream represents conflict. Two opposing sides struggling against each other. When you see it in a dream it represents a conflict in your life, or in the way you think or feel. Different ideas, beliefs or choices struggling with each other. Arguments or trouble accomplishing goals.

Example: A young girl dreamed of seeing her mother give birth to 2 babies that look just like her. In waking life her mother was pregnant with a second child and the young girl was worried that her parents wouldn't treat her as special once the new baby arrived. The 2 babies in the dream most likely reflected the conflicting feelings of jealousy she worried she would expect once the new child was born.


Chains

To see chains in your dream signify your need to break free from a routine, old idea, or a relationship. If you are being chained, then some part of you is being forcefully put in check. You are being held back from what you really want to do.

To dream of chains represents feelings of bondage, confinement, or restriction. Feeling controlled or unable to escape something in your waking life. Feeling intentionally held back from your true potential. Feeling limited. Feeling like a victim, feeling used, hating your job, or disliking having decisions made for you. Difficulty freeing yourself from a responsibility.

Alternatively, chains may reflect your own attempt to confine or restrict someone else.

Positively, a chain may reflect solidarity or group support to get through serious problems. Strong bonds, friendship, or family ties.

Example: A woman dreamed of seeing a "human chain" being made by a group of people who were all lost in the ocean not knowing how to swim. In waking life she joined a support group for cancer victims.

Example 2: A man dreamed of his hands being chained and then a dark figure tugging on it telling him to get help. In waking life he was alone, experiencing serious health complications, and hoping for death to come. The dark figure tugging on the chain reflected his fear of death making him choose to live even though he didn't want to. The chain in this case would reflect his fear of death "chaining him" to life.

Dreaming of being bound in chains, denotes that unjust burdens are about to be thrown upon your shoulders | but if you succeed in breaking them you will free yourself from some unpleasant business or social engagement. To see chains, brings calumny and treacherous designs of the envious. Seeing others in chains, denotes bad fortunes for them.


Bondage

To dream that you are in bondage signifies that aspects of your emotions and/or character are too tightly controlled or that are repressed. You may be restricting your need for self-expression or feel that you are a prisoner of your circumstances.

In a sexual sense, dreams of bondage represents your desires to be more sexually submissive. Perhaps you have not acknowledged these sexual passions.

To dream of being in bondage represents feelings of being a prisoner of your circumstances or being too tightly controlled. Confinement and restriction despite your will. Repression. An area of your life where you wish to be set free. Feelings about marriage, a new job, or a child curtailing your freedom. Feeling trapped in an obligation or debt.

Alternatively, bondage may reflect your submissive personality.
