Example: Dream meaning?
I have dreams that are very detailed - the entire dream fits together as if an author had been planning it for years.. but many times my dreams have water in them. Whether the water is calm, clear, rough, dirty - if it's an ocean, a lake, or a bathtub, it doesn't matter.. but the weird thing is that whenever I go under any kind of water, I can still breathe. I'm breathing slowly and shallow so it isn't comfortable and I still need to get to the surface to get enough air, but I can still run out of breath under the water and take in enough oxygen to be okay. My dreams are never about the fact that I can breathe underwater.. it's just a little something that happens but I notice it a lot. What could that mean?
Hi firstly ive given you a list of what different types of water means in your dreams. When you have these dreams look back on this information and see if you can reflect your waking life on anything which ive mentioned. Water in your dreams is your unconscious and your emotional state of mind. Water is the living essence of the psyche and the flow of life energy. It is also symbolic of spirituality, knowledge, healing and refreshment.
* If the water is calm, clear, then it signifies that you are in tune with your spirituality. It denotes serenity, peace of mind, and rejuvenation.
* If you are splashed by water, then it represents your need to be revitalized and more expressive.
* Muddy or dirty water in your dream, indicates that you are wallowing in your negative emotions. You may need to devote some time to clarify your mind and find internal peace. Alternatively, it suggests that your thinking/judgment is unclear and clouded. If you are immersed in muddy water, then it indicates that you are in over your head in a situation and are overwhelmed by your emotions.
* Dreaming that you are underwater, suggests that you are feeling overcome with emotions and are in need of greater control in your life. You may be in over your head regarding some situation.
* As with the ocean. This too represents the state of your emotions and feelings. It is indicative of some spiritual refreshment, tranquility and renewal.
When we dream of being underwater wether this is by being able to breathe underwater or the ableness to stay submerge for longer times than usual this usually means you want to return to a state where you were dependent and free from responsibilities. Perhaps you are feeling helpless, unable to fulfill your own needs and caring for yourself. Alternatively, you may be submerged in your emotions.
Some other area of water in dreams are as follows:-
* Clear, calm-flowing river in your dream, shows that you are allowing your life to float away and it is time that you take a more decisive hand in directing your life. A river also symbolizes joyful pleasures, peace and prosperity.
* A raging river, shows that your life is feeling out of control.
* Muddy and/or raging river, is reguards to tumultuous times and jealousy in your life.
* Dreaming that you are IN a bath tub of water is a need for self-renewal and escape from everyday problems. You need to rid yourself of the burdens that you have been carrying. Alternatively, it indicates your mood for love and pursuit of pleasure and relaxation.
I WOULD SUGGEST YOU TAKE SOME TIME FOR YOURSELF. LEARN SOME RELAXATION TECHNIQUES AND TRY TO LET OUT YOUR EMOTIONS MORE RATHER THAN KEEPING THEM AND YOUR FEELINGS LOCKED AWAY INSIDE YOU.
Example: Dream meaning?
I'm an 18 year old female,my crush(35) man came back to work at my school,he replaces other security men temporarily. On the first day,he searches for me because I'm not in the lockers(mine is far away from the bigger ones)it's in another area. And when he finds me,we talk and I wrap my legs around his waist and he caresses me really tightly and we kiss passionately. So what does this dream mean? He used to work before at my school. And his job is to replace people who get hurt and so. He once grabbed me by my rear arm and took me away when I was talking to another guy. Is this jealousy? He attracts a lot of women of his age(I can tell cause they all flirt with him)but his behavior is different with me. He is a gentleman. He would do anything for my attention. He once looked at me and when I looked at him,he quickly looked away. Why? Does he like me or so? He can easily get women of his age. He once asked me what I do after school. He looked at me a lot. Trying to get my attention. Explain the dream. Please and the situation. I don't have a problem with age and love doesn't have an age, so don't give me that age gap crap. We both are open minded. He used to talk to everybody, like the girl we call sluts at school. And his behavior would be different with me.
my 5 year old daughter told me about her dream last night : she was in the garden with her younger sister and her grandmother as a green snake turned up hissing n trying to eat her. then she ran to the door which she could not open n started bannging the door but " I " could not hear her. her sister and grandmother where watching but could not do anything.
I dont think she has been watchin TV or been told such thing that it would affect her in her dream, her discription was very detailed.
Any1 able to help and tell me what it means to see a "green snake hissing and attacking u"?
Im 14 i would NEVER get in trouble with the police and i have the same nightmare over and over again that i get falsely accused for murders, i was abducted and then i was let go but blamed for killing someone, and i woke up and the police arrested me and i got charged with many things so i got 200 years in prison, and i knew the warden and he gave me extra blankets and stuff and he knew i was falsely accused and well i found an open door i can escape out of but in my dream i dont escape for some reason, and my mom can't help me so i'm all on my own to get out and prove im not guilty, and i keep asking if i can get parole cuz the judge didn't say like you know after a couple of years you can start a case and stuff and possibly re-open the case
and it was the type of prison where you're in like solitary or w.e so there not jail cells there rooms with a window in the hallway
I was very close to her and she passed away over two years ago. I was having a lot of dreams about her after she first died and they sorta stopped for awhile. It seems like now for the last few months that they have been coming back. They always take place at her house it seems like and she is healthy and happy. I still miss her terribly. What do these dreams mean? I am a firm believer in Heaven and the afterlife, do you think it could be a way for her to communicate that she is alright? I actually don't constantly think about her like I used to but still dream about her everynight.
I had this dream that me and lots of Christian families were forced to move to this island. the island was really nice. it had ravishing houses filled with expensive furniture and everything on the island was luxurious. i remember entering the island, and they were deporting criminal looking people who tried to get in, and they were staring at us as we entered the island, and it was night time. and what was weird about the night sky was that the whole sky looked like those pictures you see of space with nebula and gas-like clouds, and the moon was red, and I suddenly felt very suspicious of the island that i just entered, something just didn't feel right about it after looking at the sky. anyways, later we were inside some house, and there was this old lady who was holding a little white dog and she was saying house she couldn't wait to die because she was going to Heaven with Jesus, but i was wondering why would she want to die when we have this nice life style?
What does it mean?
this dream happened years ago, but for some reason, now i want to know what it meant. in my dream i was a soldier in some kind of grassy area. i was down on the ground hiding in the grass and up comes up an enemy and just unloads all his ammunition into my chest with a machine gun or ak 47. im not sure. but when the bullets hit me, in reality i was shaking like the bullets were actually going into me. and thats the only way i even woke up. i still remember it like it was yesterday. any takers on this?
Ok so when i was little i was afraid of the grudge, but i never at all recall having nightmares & i tend to remember majority of my dreams or a rough idea of what they were about.
Anyway last night i dreamt that my 5 year old sister kept seeing this creature and she'd tell me but i'd tell her how it's just a figment of her imagination. I kept telling her that but she was flustering in tears and i walked into our spare room in my house and turning to the kitchen i saw the grudge crawling across the floor only to grab at my sisters throat, i rushed towards my sister to be at assistance & moved her out of the way hastily. For some reason my mouth was filled with sick & as i tried to scream for my dad in the other room all i could do is burst out the thick creamy substance in my mouth. The grudge was narrowing me into a corner and leaning towards me to clutch onto my neck, i kept screaming but dad ccouldn'thear, the noise was coated in the substance making it unbearable to speak itself. Eventually my step dad (when i say dad i'm rreferringto step dad) came into the room & just like that the Grudge swarmed out of the room leaving it unthinkable that her presence was once there. We kept telling dad to believe us she was real & i was not as scared as i was meant to be. Going into the ffoot roomi found her again and we were wrestling & dragging eeach otherconsequenting in both of us to collapse to the ground. Dad hearing the loud thump of our bbody'sclashing at the floor he rushed in. I tried to explain but the grudge wrapped her arms around Dad snuggling her head onto his chest as he stroked her head claiming that the grudge had no intention of harming us & was actually quite gentle. I stood astonished of how easily fooled he was & simply walked off. Later after lying down & attending to animals i went into the spare room which had the lights off, the nights cool air dawned on us in the pitch black but i was able to see the grudge was bending over into the corner of the room, i appeared to have a kitchen knife in my hand & it had a serrated edge, like a knife that you was to cut into a loaf of bread. I shoved it into her bare skin & cut it into her like i would in a bread, move it forwards & backwards so i could slowly cut into her. I stabbed her like this 3 times but she never moved. Then my alarm went off & i woke up.
I haven't been afraid of any horror at all for about 9 years, i don't know what it could represent or mean but just a bit of a strange dream. I haven't had a nightmare for about 11 years either, not that i could recall. Anyway anything would be appreciated :)
I have these dreams for years, that I am performing exorcisms and the dreams may have different people and different circumstances but in all of them I am doing these exorcisms on people, on houses...I have always dismissed these dreams but I'm at a point in my life that something is urging me to look into this...I don't know maybe I'm just crazy. I would like to know what it means or if maybe that is what I'm supposed to do... help people to get demons out of their body's or houses , I don't know...
i had a dream it was new years and it felt so real! what does it mean thanks!(:
