Example: What to foxes in dreams mean?
Okay, so I had this dream.. and I was in the woods and I was hunting a fox that kept bothering me at my house and I got a shotgun and tried to kill it. It was like, stealing my food and climbing around my house. even mocking me. ( harsh i know! ) I went to kill it but it stopped and started begging me but I didn't listen and shot it anyway. ( i cant believe it either. i love foxes. so i felt bad when I woke up. ) as I went home another one came out crying and said it was its husband and that she hated me for killing him.
later my dream switched to a lake and I found a starfish, but it was actually a baby octopus. later I was attacked by the mother octopus. well, it was chasing me around and I was running and hiding from it and when I tried to get help they didnt believe me.
please, be mature about this. Im a heavy believer in dreams and honestly think it means something. help me please. :/
To dream that you are hunting, suggests that you are seeking or pursuing some inner desire, either emotional or physical. You may be "hunting" for a solution or for a sexual conquest.
To dream that you hunt and kill an animal, signifies that you are trying to repress or destroy an instinctive part of yourself.
To dream that you are being hunted, indicates that you are being overwhelmed by life's challenges.
To see someone else hunting an animal in your dream, suggests that you are trying to locate a hidden aspect of your own self. You be trying to indirectly approach a challenge or situation.
To see a fox in your dream, represents insight, cleverness, cunningness and resourcefulness. Perhaps the dream is telling you that you need to exhibit more of these qualities in your waking life. Or that you need to conceal your thoughts and be more discrete about some situation. The fox may also symbolize someone in your waking life who is sly and sneaky. Alternatively, seeing a fox in your dream, indicates a period of isolation or loneliness. You need to take this time to ponder some issue or reflect upon your life. The dream could be a metaphor for someone who is a "fox", as in a foxy lady.
To see an octopus in your dream, means that you are entangled in some difficult matter. Your judgment is being clouded. Alternatively, the octopus indicates that you are overly possessive and maybe too clingy in a relationship.
To dream that you are running away from someone, indicates an issue that you are trying to avoid. You are not taking or accepting responsibility for your actions. In particular, if you are running from an attacker or any danger, then it suggests that you are not facing and confronting your fears.
My boyfriend had a dream last night that he was looking for me(his girlfriend). He kept calling out for my name but I was no where to be found. Then out of no where he saw an all white figure. This figure was all white with only a head and arms. Its face was all white with black eyes and black mouth. It stood in a 4way fence like a large box and could not come out. It tryed to speak to my boyfriend but he could not understand so my boyfriend jumped the fence and into the box to try to speak to him. The figure continued to talk but my boyfriend could not hear him nor understand and the figure then transformed his face into mine (his girlfriend). It transformed its face into mine but it maintained its white body with no legs just arms and my face looked very white. (Im guatemalan so Im very Tan in real life). My boyfriend then asked where I had gone. (thinking it was me). The figure then started to mumble "help me" in my voice. My boyfriend then felt very sacred after hearing the voice and woke up. Can anyone tell me what this means? or what this white figure could be? Thank you.
Last night I dreamt of seeing a dead relative of mine who had died a few years ago (who I was not that close to) was being taken away on a gurny by either the morgue or paramedics. I saw him flinch, they were trying to conceal it from me but it frightened me and they knew they couldn't hide it as he started moving more and more and lifted his head to look at me. His face looked disfigured and in pain like he was trying to send me a message, his body red and bloated.
Suddenly he transformed into my deceased grandmother (their relationship is that he is her brother's son all of whom are deceased). She had a large face and would not make eye contact with me but had "dead" looking scary eyes that were downcast and looking at a baby who I was trying to warn to not get near her out of my own fear of the baby being looked upon and in close proximity with a dead person. I think the baby was either my brother when he was a baby (he is a grown man now) or my sister's current baby. What could this dream mean?
I can't stop thinking about it, as it felt so real and the dead relatives physically really did look dead which was frightening but their movements and the fact that they were not burried in the dream is still on my mind all day!
OMwG...just had the most incredible dream ever!
One of my best friends, Lily and I were performing a Shakespeare play just as part of the crowd, I think, just with people we knew. I think we were a sort of traveling company. But then Lily and I notice there was an actor below us who looked really old but sounded youngish playing the old man. We didn’t know who could be playing him so we were squinting at him as close as possible without falling off the beam we were sitting on, it was dark. We were chatting quietly about him when he looked up and winked. I got butterflies in my stomach. I said hi [insert facepalm].
When the play ended Lily and I were walking along when we passed the guy taking off his mask. He turned out to be a fill in. And he was SO unbelievably hot! He laughed and said, ‘It’s the talking girls!’
He invited us over to a cafe across the road but, Lily had a date so I went by myself. It was the most amazing (and, okay, dream!) cafe that I had ever seen. But, I had never seen it before, at least I can’t remember, which was weird as I, in the dream, said it was my favorite place to go. We talked and laughed. He was from America (which was strange because it is mainly Europeans I daydream about) and I apparently lived here, I had never seen the place before but my ‘dream me’ knew the place well. We said goodbye just by waving, we didn’t hug or toutch, but my face went hot without, which happens when I’m awake as well.
The next day I was sitting on the ground with my friends somewhere watching something (so extremely detailed!) when a few guyfriends came to join us. I don’t know how, but I knew they brought The Boy so I was looking for him, very inconspicuously of course :), when I turned around and he was sitting beside be on my other side. I jumped and my heart started beating REALLY fast and strong. He winked again, he has a really suave wink, and purposely lent his shoulder next to mine and bumped it. The butterflies turned into albatrosses! OMWG!
Then my idiot dog (not really, I love her) perfectly timed her morning jump on my bed just at this moment and awake I became :(
So, for the next half hour I lay in bed trying to return to dreamland which was, of course, to no avail.
I think the dream was around 4 to 6.30 am, if that means anything.
So please tell me what this means. Hopefully I’m not going psycho...
Hugs and butterfly kisses xx
Example: What does my dream mean?
I believe dreams are internal messages but not foretelling of the future. So what can anyone make of this one...I'm in the public restroom. In the stall Wichita is awkwardly exposed is my ex mother in law who is peeing but completely missing. I know gross. When I come out of my stall I wash my hands and look in mirror. My eyes are red and bloodshot and my skin is pale. There are about 5 bugs on my face at any given time. 2 are very pretty and colorful and feel glued under my eyes. There are two large black ones that are digging into my tear ducts. The black ones slide easily out of my tear ducts but are always replaced with a new bug of the same type. I'm not freaking out just can't get them off my face.
"The lawn and drive had been crowded with the faces of those who guessed at his corruption - and he had stood on those steps, concealing his incorruptible dream, as he waved them good-by" (154)
Can someone please help me analyze this quote and connect it to the greater themes of the novel. Thank you!
Example: Shadow cloaked faces?
A while back i had a strange dream, in which i saw a girl who's face was concealed in shadow throughout the entire dream. The strange thing is i knew who she was, and i didn't feel any kind of fear or anything of that nature. I know this is probably nothing of importance to my life, and my mind was probably just doing its job of cataloging all of the information it deemed significant from that day, but i have read several articles about "meanings" of certain features in dreams. I have yet to find any meaning for people you know having their faces concealed by shadow during a dream, so i decided to post this here in the hopes of finding an answer.
So a couple of days ago I had this dream where I was on a youth trip and we were sleeping in our church's parking lot in our car for some reason. Well while we are hanging out I'm texting some friends with my car door open when my purse fell out of the car. But I'm kind of preoccupied so I don't get it until the police shows up and warns me that I shouldn't be staying here with my car door wide open, my purse on the pavement and that I should be more aware of my surroundings. Other wise criminals are bound to take advantage of you, especially at night. And sure enough when the cops are gone and when we just decide to leave a motorcycle begins to follow us. After taking a couple of sharp turns and spontaneously redirecting our route, we loose him. The next day a friend from church tells me I should wear this kind of see-through glass mask and that by wearing it will protect me from criminals like the one I encountered last night. So I wear the mask and sure enough I don't encounter any problems, but after wearing the mask a while it begins to irritate my skin. Feeling that I should be safe enough to take off the mask for a little while, and I do so. Moments later I get a text from my friend telling me that there are "incidences" that are occurring around your area, if you don't put the mask back on the incidences will catch up to you. I then quickly put the mask back and the incidences subside. The rest of my dream goes on like this, me growing tired of wearing the mask and taking it off then getting a text message from friend warning me to put it back on. Towards the end of my dream my brother throws my mask away. I try and persuade me that it is important that I put the mask back on. But he doesn't believe me, saying that the mask is not important it's all in your mind. Meanwhile I keep getting all theses text messages from my friend that the incidences are getting closer and closer. When I finally get the mask back it's already too late, there are people outside my home who are looking for me though that can't tell who I am with my mask on. My dream end with me and my brother (who finally believes me about the mask) confronting the people outside of our home.
What do you think this dream might mean?
All feedback is welcome and will be greatly appreciated! :)
I have never had this dream before, and I don't know how I could have had it. PLEASE Take time to read it, not just skim over it and call me a freak or post useless comments like, "I don't know." Because that's not helping ANYONE.
Please help me.. :
I already knew that someone was stalking me, I guess. From maby a prior dream? Or it was in the back of my mind that I already knew he was stalking me. I was in my room, and i was trying to get my curtain to go down, but it wouldn't sidly so I had to unroll it until it was at the end of the roll, where it got odly thin and started looking like toilet paper at the tops.. weird. Anyways. When that was done, (It was night time by the way), I decided to sit down and dorememberework. I had my 7th grade teachers again, and I don't know why. I just remeber saying their names. So, I sat down on my bed and started, then I looked over. I saw a square white flag outside my window. Now, my window was open, and I don't know why.. But when I looked over, a (I'm sorry for using it in this term,) black man was stnding out my window. I don't know what it was. But he was looking away, then he looked up. I screamed and ran to my brothers room, telling him about it and then rushed back to my room, telling him I was going to call the police, and I recall him screaming. "No! You better not ******' do this! I'm gonna get you, *****!" Then I ran to my dads room, shaking him awake and telling him to call the police. He did, and the police came. The dream paused and it went to like, another scene. I hated this part.. I was talking to my dad nad he said not to go into any secluded areas and to always be with someone because maybe the guy knew who I was. So, I ended up at the back of the library near the trashcans when I saw him. I looked younger. Maybe 9? And I began peddling away on my bike, and he had one, too. But we both threw them on the ground and he chaised after me. I ended up in my moms car in the driveway of some store. and the black man took some kids pogo stick and was running towards a muslim woman. They talked, I don't remember waht they said, and she and him walked over to my car. He threw her in and I noticed that he had a tatoo that said, in what seemed like arbic letters, "s C I L I C K" If that means anything.. The S was lowercase. So now, inwhat seemed to be mud, there was the word again, S C I L I C K across the womans face. She began choking me, and the man was laughing, saying. "Yu thought talking to your momma was gonna stop me? No!"
Then the dream ended. I woke up 3 hours before I would usually wake up. I'm 14 years old and I always feel like someone is watchig, even though I know nobody is.
