Example: What does this dream mean?

Ok I keep having this dream like every other night and I had one similar a few months ago. So I am always with my family and its overcast outside but sort of like its about to storm really hard. I look outside and the streets are empty, then someone comes and tells me that we have to get ready for the terrible "trouble" coming. Then all the sudden a countdown starts and I have to get as much of my family and pack because were going to have to leave my house. Everytime time runs out and this huge storm comes and I always almost die and then I see a random old person walking then I'm on the streets by myself and everything is destroyed. Please tell me what you think it means.

"Storm
dream interpretation
meaning of dream
Everything in our life is a reflection on us and this hold true in our dreams. The storm in your dreams may be a reflection of some difficulty in your life. Consider all of the details and notice if you took shelter from the storm or were you swept away by it. Did the storm pass you by, were you safe, or did you suffer? All of us experience difficulties in life and our dreams make an attempt to bring us into awareness and out of denial. Think about the storms in your life, how you will weather them, and what you can do to make them subside."

My basic thought on it: You could just be afraid of your family being without you being able to help them. Could there be something personal that might restrict you from protecting others? It seems to me like you don't really know what to do during the dream or if you are hesitant about something.

Dreams are really personal experiences that are preserved in the mind of a person. Some main events are easily noticeable and clear while there may be other important small things that are significant to the dream such as the environment, expression of others, and feelings after the dream. Which can create the true meaning of a dream. The reason for why certain dreams come up, I really don't know.
I think only the dreamer can fully understand a dream or perhaps just partially. With a deep understanding of one's self, the meaning of a dream becomes much more clear.
My suggestion is to type or write your thoughts on the computer/journal with out second thoughts(free writing) and eventually try to analyze it.
Ask yourself questions such as:
How was I feeling when I was alone during the dream?
How did I feel in the situation? Scared, puzzled, intimidated, a little hesitant?
Am I trying to avoid something in the dream?
Was this an emotional dream?
Was this a physical dream?
What were my thoughts of the storm during the dream?
Add emotional detail to your interpretation. What ever it is that you have in mind just write it down. Eventually you will become rather well in understanding why you have certain dreams.

Example: What does my dream mean?

A while ago I had a dream and it was one of those that feels very real so that when you wake up you're really disorientated and it takes you a long time to realise that you're back in the real world again. It made me feel really strange afterwards.

I dreamt that me and my cousin were being chased through a city, it looked like Masyaf or somewhere similar back in roughly 1000AD. The chasers were shooting arrows at us and narrowly missing. My cousin and I ducked into a house to escape them but they were closing in on us and there was nowhere left for us to hide. We lay on the floor with our hands over our heads waiting to be killed, but we weren't. When I looked up there was a man standing in front of us, protecting us. He leapt in front of the arrows and was killed. My cousin and I were saved, and then I woke up.

I know what you're all going to say when you read this, but, even though there was no evidence for it I knew that the man that saved us was Jesus.

I'm not religious in any way, I never have been. I'm not against religion and feel that if people need something to believe in then as long as it doesn't harm anyone and they don't push it on me, it's fine, but I don't personally believe in any 'higher power'.

So, any idea what it means?

Example: Dream meaning?

I was just wondering about this dream I had last night and what it might have meant.
The dream-(Somebody I liked was at my house and we were throwing paper pieces at each other when I was about to kiss him on the cheek I started to choke and then I was that it was on long chuncks of my own hair. When I finally pulled all the hair out some blood came out.)
Weirdest dream I ever had, so please tell if it means anything.

I dreamt last night that my gums bled (a lot) while I was brushing my teeeth - does that have any significant meaning? I've heard that dreaming of your teeth falling out can mean a death, but my teeth were not actually falling out ...

Example: Do my dreams mean anything?

Lately I have been having nightly dreams about escape and explosions. They generally take place in the town where I grew up. It seems like late afternoon because of the golden light. In one dream I was running away from a farm and turned to see all the buildings explode simultaneously, but they didn't catch on fire. I always wake up unsettled afterward.

I've been having small anxiety attacks lately, but I don't know what I'm anxious about. I wonder if the dreams could be relating to that.

Example: Dream meaning?

I always had a dream on halloween when my dad and step mom were together that she convinced my dad to throw me and my 2 younger sisters in a volcano, and we came out as skeletons and a witch took us to an abandoned high school. We then turned into witches and my dad was a witch hunter. He saw us and recognized us and took his group of hunters away. I had that dream from when I was 4 up until my dad and step mom got a divorce, so i was 9. My step mom never liked me, and always treated me like a piece of crap. What is the meaning of my dream?

Example: Dream Meaning?

I want to see if anyone can provide some insight to my dream.

I've had a recurring dream over the last two weeks that my best friend of 14 years repeatedly kidnaps me.

In one she was a cop assigned to protect me and my sister while my husband was out of town. While showing me around her house she hit me over the head while I am not looking, knocking me out. Then did the same to my sister.

Another time she visited me at work and sprayed me and my boss with her perfume bottle causing us both to pass out.

There are others but all involve her knocking me (and whomever I'm with) out in some form or another. When I come to she is usually gone.

We do not fight at all and see each other a couple of times a week. She was the maid of honor in my wedding.

Is there any significance to being knocked unconscious in a dream? Especially by my best friend?

Thanks. JJ
