When I dream, it often switches between 1st and 3rd person. Sometimes I am myself but lately many other times I am another person in my dreams... Recently I've dreamt I was a 40-year-old Mexican woman taking care of her family, an Afghan man with a new wife trying to get out of a war zone, and just last night, a handsome 30-something murderous con man... in my dream I lured a young woman to an old building and killed her, then realized I was very mentally ill...
Does anyone know what this means? No one else I know has dreams that they are a different person.
It probably means you're confabulating. If not, it means you've got some serious problems to deal with, and should seek the help of a clinical psychologist or psychiatrist as soon as possible. Some transformations are common in the formal structure of dreams. Others are almost unknown. Transformations that violate the waking ego, transforming into animals or into other people, or dying in a dream (as opposed to almost dying, then waking or else continuing the dream in another direction) are very rare, and almost always a symptom of psychological morbidity.
Since you're so cavalier in your description, so apparently unaffected by your own dream experiences and unconcerned, I think confabulation is the most likely. Go play somewhere else, child.
Ok so i had this dream and I killed someone does this have a meaning to it?
Not me. A friend of mine has sexual dreams about a woman since about 1.5 years, pretty much every night and he can vividly remember these dreams. He is about to get married to his girlfriend who he loves dearly next year. Nevertheless even if he is having sex with her, this woman comes into his mind. LOL. What could such dreams mean?
Someone who is still a.stranger to your family(they never met them) but in the dream they were in ur home and they acted like it was their home everything normal and they were hanging out with your family and it was like they were a part of the family
I keep having this dream where one of my guy friends and I start making out and he starts kissing me all over. I always wake up just before things get a little too heated. I've never even kissed this guy before or anything but I seemed to know what it felt like in the dream. What does this mean?
i do not remember what occurred in my dream, but i do remember that my crush was in it...
he's been in my dreams 3 times now, and i didn't dream often at the time (now i dream every night)
what does it mean when he's in my dreams?
I have read that this is called astral projection; however, I looked up astral projection and it doesn't really seem to apply to me.
I sort of dream in the third person. I can always see myself, but I don't actually have any awareness of "self". It's not like I'm watching myself, if you get what I mean. It's sort of hard to explain.
Sometimes, I look slightly different than in real life. Mostly I just wear clothes that I don't actually own or my wear my hair different or something.
Once, I had a dream where I was younger but I looked different than I really did when I was that age. I guess in the dream I looked like I would have if I was that age again.
I've dreamed this way as long as I can remember.
Does this mean anything?
i start talking to a person (i know who he is, but i don't really know him)and when my dream is about to end the person says i want to get to know you better. i had this dream every day for one week.
Not me. A friend of mine has sexual dreams about a woman since about 1.5 years, pretty much every night and he can vividly remember these dreams, which he describes as enjoyable. He is about to get married to his girlfriend who he loves dearly next year. Nevertheless even if he is having sex with her, this woman comes into his mind. LOL. What could such dreams mean?
I dreamt a person at school liked me. But in reality he doesn't. So what does my dream mean? And why did I dream about him when I've never liked him before?
