Example: Dream meaning?
I have dreams that are very detailed - the entire dream fits together as if an author had been planning it for years.. but many times my dreams have water in them. Whether the water is calm, clear, rough, dirty - if it's an ocean, a lake, or a bathtub, it doesn't matter.. but the weird thing is that whenever I go under any kind of water, I can still breathe. I'm breathing slowly and shallow so it isn't comfortable and I still need to get to the surface to get enough air, but I can still run out of breath under the water and take in enough oxygen to be okay. My dreams are never about the fact that I can breathe underwater.. it's just a little something that happens but I notice it a lot. What could that mean?
Hi firstly ive given you a list of what different types of water means in your dreams. When you have these dreams look back on this information and see if you can reflect your waking life on anything which ive mentioned. Water in your dreams is your unconscious and your emotional state of mind. Water is the living essence of the psyche and the flow of life energy. It is also symbolic of spirituality, knowledge, healing and refreshment.
* If the water is calm, clear, then it signifies that you are in tune with your spirituality. It denotes serenity, peace of mind, and rejuvenation.
* If you are splashed by water, then it represents your need to be revitalized and more expressive.
* Muddy or dirty water in your dream, indicates that you are wallowing in your negative emotions. You may need to devote some time to clarify your mind and find internal peace. Alternatively, it suggests that your thinking/judgment is unclear and clouded. If you are immersed in muddy water, then it indicates that you are in over your head in a situation and are overwhelmed by your emotions.
* Dreaming that you are underwater, suggests that you are feeling overcome with emotions and are in need of greater control in your life. You may be in over your head regarding some situation.
* As with the ocean. This too represents the state of your emotions and feelings. It is indicative of some spiritual refreshment, tranquility and renewal.
When we dream of being underwater wether this is by being able to breathe underwater or the ableness to stay submerge for longer times than usual this usually means you want to return to a state where you were dependent and free from responsibilities. Perhaps you are feeling helpless, unable to fulfill your own needs and caring for yourself. Alternatively, you may be submerged in your emotions.
Some other area of water in dreams are as follows:-
* Clear, calm-flowing river in your dream, shows that you are allowing your life to float away and it is time that you take a more decisive hand in directing your life. A river also symbolizes joyful pleasures, peace and prosperity.
* A raging river, shows that your life is feeling out of control.
* Muddy and/or raging river, is reguards to tumultuous times and jealousy in your life.
* Dreaming that you are IN a bath tub of water is a need for self-renewal and escape from everyday problems. You need to rid yourself of the burdens that you have been carrying. Alternatively, it indicates your mood for love and pursuit of pleasure and relaxation.
I WOULD SUGGEST YOU TAKE SOME TIME FOR YOURSELF. LEARN SOME RELAXATION TECHNIQUES AND TRY TO LET OUT YOUR EMOTIONS MORE RATHER THAN KEEPING THEM AND YOUR FEELINGS LOCKED AWAY INSIDE YOU.
This lion was as big as a small car. HUGE.
I woke up feeling a strong feeling about something but it was unclear what it was about specifically.
Any ideas on what this dream could mean?
It's really weird. The house in my dream is identical to my home. Except in my dream I have two kids. I catch him once looking into my kid's window while they are sleeping. It's like he's not afraid to get caught. I have two phones by me, the house phone and the cell phone. The cell phone doesn't work at all when I place a call. And on the house phone is seems as though someone is there but I can't hear them. So there is no rescue coming and he knows it. He just goes from window to window around my house, looking in and smiling. Never trying to get in really...just looking. It woke me up this morning. What could it mean?
Ok, I had this dream..I was at a park with my son. I was sitting at the picnic table watching him play with the other kids. His babysitter was there and decided to leave with her son. My son then took off running after them. I sat there frozen and I couldn't speak. My mouth was moving, but nothing was coming out. All of a sudden this gay looking blue cargo van was coming. He honked but my son wouldn't move off the street. Next thing I know everything magnified and went into slow mo. The guy in the van ran over my son. I just sat there and saw the whole thing. He is down on the ground and the driver just kept driving. I am able to move now, so I run up to him. Turn him over and look into his eyes. I didn't see anything there. He is so bloody and dismembered. I start to cry. So I put my ear down next to his mouth to try to hear if he is still breathing. No he isn't.
Then I woke up freaking out. Can you tell me where to look up what this means. Or if you have any ideal
A friend of mine went to live and work abroad a month ago, I saw him in my dream last night looking tired, depressed bloomin awful infact...why would i dream this?
I dreamt that my mum had another baby.
Then she left somewhere.
So me, my brother and sister were stuck looking after it, but they didn't want to, so I had to do it alone.
It was fun, I didn't mind changing nappies and looking after her.
But I remember at some point in the dream, the baby looked a lot older, like 6 years old, and I got really sad that it was growing up so fast. And I saw it wearing makeup and I got SO angry.
What does this mean? I am 16, a girl by the way .
I keep having a very strange dream. I'm either sitting outside of my house looking at the night sky or looking at the sky out of the window in my room. The only way I can describe the sky is to imagine if all the planets in our solar system suddenly surrounded earth and were closer to it than the moon. Some of the planets are so large in the dream that they take up a large portion of the sky and some are further away. The scene is beautiful, but instead of feeling serene, I feel overwhelming anxiety. I'm confused why the sky is like this and I behin to feel like something is watching me. I then see a hovering odd object in the sky and I know that whatever it is wants me. I leave where I am and run into the forest beside my house, but the object keeps up and continues to follow me overhead. I keep running until I wake up. Any ideas what the symbolism means? Any help is appreciated! :)

Example: Looking under water in a dream mean?
I had a dream that I was in the middle of the ocean the the waves were crashing around me the wind blew hard. I felt myself being swiftly pushed among those crashing waves. Shortly after I suddenly had a feeling that made me want to put my face underwater. Then when I opened my eyes in the water, the storm had stopped. The water was calm the wind had mellowed. As I took my face out of the water Everything felt calm. So what does looking under water symbolize in a dream?
funny thing happened last night. i dreamed of looking at myself in the mirror like i always do when i'm examining my skin or hair or something, except there was a considerably sized pimple right in between my eyes. like, third eye style. the funny thing is, my friends and i had just been talking about how none of us had ever dreamed of mirrors of any sort. or none that we could remember.
the nonchalant-ness of the dream is what got me. i thought it was just me looking at myself before going to bed or something, not a dream.
if it makes any difference, i've started doing tarot readings again after a long time, and i slept with them under my pillow. all of the readings have been at least some degree of accurate. usually 90%.
