Example: What does this dream mean?

Ok, i had this dream, that aliens took over our world and blocked out the sun, and all the kids had to stay in their classrooms, and everyone except me was enjoying it and having fun. then, i saw my mum and dad and my cat standing in one spot telling me to go over there, then i did, then we went home and continued life, except with no electricity..

it was really weird..and when i woke up it felt as if it were true, and i was really scared..
so, do any of you no what it meant? thnxx♥

One interpretation: you would prefer a warm, loving, happy home life to the alienated life one perhaps encounters on the "mean streets." (This, btw, is the subject of C. S. Lewis' excellent--meaning, why don't you check it out--novella, "The Great Divorce.")

Your obedience is important, as you are not rebelling against the gnats of home and swallowing the camel of "alien-nation."

The "trueness" relates to how your dreaming consciousness, which is your waking subconscious, and more tuned in to your feelings and emotions, views your whole life--waking and its more lively dreaming :)

Thus, it is really well that you be "afraid" or "scared" of merely becoming an alienated worker in a hive mind, a "godless luciferian superstate." This is the daily reality of e.g. Soviet Russia or Third Reich Germany, and it is not a "pretty picture."

Example: Weird dream: ex-boyfriend, baby, gnat, and boar?

i had this dream a while back - and for some reason it just sticks out in my head - i don't think i'll ever forget it. i was wondering if anyone can interpret it for me:

it was about my ex-boyfriend - but in my dream we were still together and we had a baby girl. everytime his stepdad was around the baby turned into a tiny gnat - and i still felt i had to care for the gnat - but when his stepdad left - she would be a baby girl again.
also, a part of the dream that REALLY sticks out to me is: there was a baby boar (and it looked more cute than evil - but had a weird vibe about it) and it was just laying by my tv - it didn't do anything - just chilled there.

it was such a weird dream - and i really believe it meant something significant - any ideas what that could be?

if there's any thing that doesn't seem to make sense, just let me know and check back - i'm really curious as to what it could mean

Example: Your take on Goldfish and Bumblebees?

This dream was vividly clear, and stayed with me for days.

I walked into my bedroom to find a grey, office type trash can on the floor. it had a clear trash liner in it, and was filled with water and two big, round, bright orange gold fish. One of the fish had his mouth out of the water and was gasping. I added more water and he swam back below the surface, but started to do that slow, sideways float that fish do when they're nearing the end. Suddenly there were large, gnat-like bugs floating on the surface of the water. I scooped them out and they turned into bumble bees, which tried to eat the goldfish. Then my 6 month old puppy appeared, except he looked like a fiercely independent orange tabby cat I used to have. my cat used to eat large flies for fun, which seems relevant since my puppy ended up eating the fish that was dying, and was having the best time ever doing so.

I have my own theories on the meaning of this dream, but I would like to hear yours.

Example: What does this dream mean? Any idea?

I dreamed that I had a small snake between my toes, and was desperately trying to shake it out.. I was talking to it and regarding it as a human. I was saying "as much as we all love seeing you, you need to leave" and when it finally was thrown off my toes, it stopped on the floor and looked me straight in the eye as if warning me. It seemed dangerous to me, like one of those people you want to keep at arms length.. Mischievous, ominous, sneaky and/or vengeful. I knew it would do something to 'get back at me' for getting rid of it. As soon as it left, a cricket showed up.. I was horrified and crushed it. Then swarms of insects were trying to attack me and the people I was with.. They were in swarms in the sky.. Possibly gnats, at one point I was in a kayak trying to duck down into it for shelter from them and at one point I was under the water trying to escape.

Example: In "To Autumn" by John Keats?

What does Keats mean by the lines, "Where are the songs of Spring? Aye, where are they?/ Think not of them, thou hast thy music too – "

Example: What does it mean to dream about the same girl for four night at a row?

I barley know her and I keep dreaming about her nights at a row. And I don't want to tell a stranger "I constantly have dreams about you."

Example: Help plz! i dont get what this means in Romeo and Juliet! Act 1 Scene 4 Line 58-100?

In Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, Mercutio says:

O, then, I see Queen Mab hath been with you.
She is the fairies' midwife, and she comes
In shape no bigger than an agate-stone
On the fore-finger of an alderman,
Drawn with a team of little atomies
Athwart men's noses as they lie asleep;
Her wagon-spokes made of long spiders' legs,
The cover of the wings of grasshoppers,
The traces of the smallest spider's web,
The collars of the moonshine's watery beams,
Her whip of cricket's bone, the lash of film,
Her wagoner a small grey-coated gnat,
Not so big as a round little worm
Prick'd from the lazy finger of a maid;
Her chariot is an empty hazel-nut
Made by the joiner squirrel or old grub,
Time out o' mind the fairies' coachmakers.
And in this state she gallops night by night... (1.4.58-100)

"O, then, I see Queen Mab hath been with you.
She is the fairies’ midwife, and she comes
In shape no bigger than an agate-stone
On the fore-finger of an alderman,
Drawn with a team of little atomies
Over men’s noses as they lie asleep;
Her wagon-spokes made of long spinners’ legs,
The cover of the wings of grasshoppers,
The traces of the smallest spider’s web,
The collars of the moonshine’s watery beams,
Her whip of cricket’s bone; the lash of film;
Her waggoner a small grey-coated gnat,
Not half so big as a round little worm
Prick’d from the lazy finger of a maid:
Her chariot is an empty hazel-nut
Made by the joiner squirrel or an old grub,
Time out o’ mind the fairies’ coachmakers.
And in this state she gallops night by night
Through lovers’ brains, and then they dream of love;
O’er courtiers’ knees, that dream on court’sies straight,
O’er lawyers’ fingers, who straight dream on fees,
O’er ladies ‘ lips, who straight on kisses dream,
Which oft the angry Mab with blisters plagues,
Because their breaths with sweetmeats tainted are:
Sometime she gallops o’er a courtier’s nose,
And then dreams he of smelling out a suit;
And sometime comes she with a tithe-pig’s tail
Tickling a parson’s nose as a’ lies asleep,
Then dreams, he of another benefice:
Sometime she driveth o’er a soldier’s neck,
And then dreams he of cutting foreign throats,
Of breaches, ambuscadoes, Spanish blades,
Of healths five-fathom deep; and then anon
Drums in his ear, at which he starts and wakes,
And being thus frighted swears a prayer or two
And sleeps again. This is that very Mab
That plaits the manes of horses in the night,
And bakes the elflocks in foul sluttish hairs,
Which once untangled, much misfortune bodes:
This is the hag, when maids lie on their backs,
That presses them and learns them first to bear,
Making them women of good carriage:
This is she—"

Example: You have all the self determination of a gnat ..?

... or a bumble bee perhaps. I mean, the gnat wakes from its sleep .. feels hungry .. and goes to eat .. same as you. The gnat sees something it likes .. makes itelf look desirable .. and likes something it sees .. same as you. I mean, the gnat is really only responding to external stimuli in just about everything it does .. same as you. You can do a little bit more perhaps but not much. Having a baby ..? All you can do is lie back and wait for it .. some of you can't even do that .. but none of you can make a baby.
Why's that then .? Well that's because nothing that's done is done by you. In fact you're really not responsible for anything you do, because you don't really exist as an individual. So if you're not responsible for anything you do, why not accept your place in the scheme of things and stop pretending otherwise ..? Why not lose your mad ambition and your wants and your so called needs and petty behaviour and relax and be who you were meant to be ..?
