I only recently became a vegetarian and I don't think I'm getting enough protein. I had a dream that I accidentally ate a ham sandwich, and my mom said it's my body telling me I need the protein from meat. What can I eat that will give me a sufficient amount? Thanks! :)
The average person only needs about 50 grams of protein per day. Protein is in everything, just look at the side of boxes. In todays world it is very hard to be protein deficient if you are eating a wide variety.
High protein foods include:
soy milk, tofu, nuts(Almonds, Cashews, Filberts, Hemp Seeds, Peanuts, Pumpkin seeds, Sesame seeds, Sunflower seeds, Walnuts (black)), seeds, legumes(Garbanzo beans, Kidney beans, Lentils, Lima beans, Navy beans, Soybeans, Split peas), grains(Barley, Brown rice, Buckwheat, Millet, Oatmeal, Rye, Wheat germ, Wheat, hard red, Wild rice), vegetables(Artichokes, Beets, Broccoli, Brussels sprouts, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Cucumbers, Eggplant, Green peas, Green pepper, Kale, Lettuce, Mushrooms, Mustard green, Onions, Potatoes, Spinach, Tomatoes, Turnip greens, Watercress, Yams, Zucchini), fruits(Apple, Banana, Cantaloupe, Grape, Grapefruit, Honeydew melon, Orange, Papaya, Peach, Pear, Pineapple, Strawberry)
Trust me protein deficiencies are rare in developed countries and are mostly found in third world countries that suffer from famine.
Your dream does not mean anything. If everyone looked at their dreams as a crystal ball into the future, a lot more people would be going to school in their underwear.

Example: Diet questions? Help appreciated!?
I'm 5'5 and i weigh 138 pounds, so I'm close to being overweight. I really want a toned body like it would be my DREAM to have a defined stomach and muscular legs. I do swim everyday but I need a diet that's not too hard to follow and doesn't feel like i'm depriving myself or on an extreme diet that pressures you into binging. PLEAASEEEE give me some diet tips and somewhat of a proper diet with variety in it along with some excercises that help. Thankyouu!
Example: How do I lose weight? 6'9" 360?
I am 17 years old a junior in High School, and I am 6'9" and around 360 pounds. I realize that I am overweight and I really need to lose weight. I am an offensive tackle on my high school team and would like to play basketball but it is hard for me. My uncle knows some people that are on good terms with the managers of the Indianapolis Colts and this might be my only chance to live out my dream and become a professional lineman. I have been told that I am very active for my weight but I am in dire need of some help scheduling a diet and exercise. If any of you know a great diet for a man my size it would be awesome for you to share it with me. Thank you.
Example: Vegetarian wedding menu ideas?
I am getting married this summer and plan on having a vegetarian menu, since both my fiancee and I have been vegetarians for quite some time. After talking to many caterers who think vegetarian catering means vegi platters and salad I have decided to do the wedding with out a caterer. Any ideas on what to serve my 75 or so guests?

I never see women who dress up like men. I'm not talking about butch lesbians, I'm talking about straight women dressing as men. Also not talking about tom-boys. I'm talking and women who do the equivilent of what men do.
Like for instance men will go out of their way to also put on make up and wear wigs. Well the equivilent of that would be a woman wearing a mustache and shaving their head like a pro boxer, etc.
The proper term is transvestite. I see a lot who are men, but what about women?
Im 16 and I've been considering a raw diet, or one close to such. I've been a vegetarian for a year and a half currently and want to try new things.
I run everyday, so exercise is important to me and my diet is one key factor in how I choose to live my life.
If anyone is "expertised" in raw diets- I have a few questions.
1) as in the meaning of "raw," does that mean that foods shouldnt be cooked? Say if I own frozen vegetables and SLIGHTLY heat them, does that make a raw dietest... Unraw?
2) where do you get protein from other than nuts and seeds? Would eating raw tempeh (which doesn't really, to be honest, make me sick. I actually think it tastes fine.) and tofu be on the list for raw foods?
3) b12? Would drinking almond dream (almond milk) be considered raw? Almond dream has good amount of b12.
4)would a raw dietest be considered vegan?
5) grains(bread)/peanut butter (natural)/beans/mushrooms/ frozen fruits - would they be considered raw ?
