You are so angry about the situation that you might be taking it out on someone who just happens to be involved, but is innocent. The bus means that as you go through your life, you feel like you are in the middle of this conflict all the time, this puts a lot of presure on you.
What do dreams mean~
10. Blind People Dream
People who become blind after birth can see images in their dreams. People who are born blind do not see any images, but have dreams equally vivid involving their other senses of sound, smell, touch and emotion. It is hard for a seeing person to imagine, but the body’s need for sleep is so strong that it is able to handle virtually all physical situations to make it happen.
9. You Forget 90% of your Dreams
Within 5 minutes of waking, half of your dream if forgotten. Within 10, 90% is gone. The famous poet, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, woke one morning having had a fantastic dream (likely opium induced) - he put pen to paper and began to describe his “vision in a dream” in what has become one of English’s most famous poems: Kubla Khan. Part way through (54 lines in fact) he was interrupted by a “Person from Porlock“. Coleridge returned to his poem but could not remember the rest of his dream. The poem was never completed.
8. Everybody Dreams
Every human being dreams (except in cases of extreme psychological disorder) but men and women have different dreams and different physical reactions. Men tend to dream more about other men, while women tend to dream equally about men and women. In addition, both men and women experience sexually related physical reactions to their dreams regardless of whether the dream is sexual in nature; males experience erections and females experience increased vaginal blood flow.
7. Dreams Prevent Psychosis
In a recent sleep study, students who were awakened at the beginning of each dream, but still allowed their 8 hours of sleep, all experienced difficulty in concentration, irritability, hallucinations, and signs of psychosis after only 3 days. When finally allowed their REM sleep the student’s brains made up for lost time by greatly increasing the percentage of sleep spent in the REM stage. [Source]
6. We Only Dream of What We Know
Our dreams are frequently full of strangers who play out certain parts - did you know that your mind is not inventing those faces - they are real faces of real people that you have seen during your life but may not know or remember? The evil killer in your latest dream may be the guy who pumped petrol in to your Dad’s car when you were just a little kid. We have all seen hundreds of thousands of faces through our lives, so we have an endless supply of characters for our brain to utilize during our dreams.
5. Not Everyone Dreams in Color
A full 12% of sighted people dream exclusively in black and white. The remaining number dream in full color. People also tend to have common themes in dreams, which are situations relating to school, being chased, running slowly/in place, sexual experiences, falling, arriving too late, a person now alive being dead, teeth falling out, flying, failing an examination, or a car accident. It is unknown whether the impact of a dream relating to violence or death is more emotionally charged for a person who dreams in color than one who dreams in black and white. [Source]
4. Dreams are not about what they are about
If you dream about some particular subject it is not often that the dream is about that. Dreams speak in a deeply symbolic language. The unconscious mind tries to compare your dream to something else, which is similar. Its like writing a poem and saying that a group of ants were like machines that never stop. But you would never compare something to itself, for example: “That beautiful sunset was like a beautiful sunset”. So whatever symbol your dream picks on it is most unlikely to be a symbol for itself.
3. Quitters have more vivid dreams
People who have smoked cigarettes for a long time who stop, have reported much more vivid dreams than they would normally experience. Additionally, according to the Journal of Abnormal Psychology: “Among 293 smokers abstinent for between 1 and 4 weeks, 33% reported having at least 1 dream about smoking. In most dreams, subjects caught themselves smoking and felt strong negative emotions, such as panic and guilt. Dreams about smoking were the result of tobacco withdrawal, as 97% of subjects did not have them while smoking, and their occurrence was significantly related to the duration of abstinence. They were rated as more vivid than the usual dreams and were as common as most major tobacco withdrawal symptoms.” [Source]
2. External Stimuli Invade our Dreams
This is called Dream Incorporation and it is the experience that most of us have had wher
Example: What does this dream mean? Animals?
I have had this weird dream several times. It starts out with the vision of the earth in its orbit as if the earth was talking to me(or maybe an angel?) about a trial from her father to create a new era.? Suddenly I see myself as a fish in the ocean, and then a jelly fish welcomes me to the world.I eat the jellyfish and I go through a cave then out and some sharks are chasing me,I dive in and out of the surface of the water trying to escape the sharks, then this bright door appears and I go through it. Next I suddenly see myself as a salamander slimy like creature in some weird desert like environment as if all the plants had been eaten away, and I find myself running away from giant insects that are chasing and eating me and a herd of my own kind. But, The insects suddenly start to shrink and we begin eating back at the insects. Suddenly the door appears again, and I go through again. but this time I appear as a small dinosour, and Im hunting animals smaller than me and getting bigger.
I had a dream last night that I was at my dad’s house…I went to get honey out of the cupboard and there were ants all over it – There was also ants on my BF’s favorite magazine – I rinsed if off in water to get rid of them…I gave him the magazine and he was wondering why it was all wet – as I was explaining it I turned around and saw LOTS more ants on the wall – as we got closer to look at them they turned into spiders ---- lots of small spiders – I then started noticing them on the floor and all over the place – I ran down the hall and my dad was in the family room sitting down – Then a couple of HUGE spiders crawled over him – I tried to trap them to keep them away from him but I couldn’t. They didn’t hurt him though and my dad wasn’t as panicked as I was. Besides spiders every where there was this strange bird thing – it looked like it as carton like – but more similar to 3D animation. It was all sorts of colors...
I had two dreams recently about creatures attaching and biting the top of my feet. The first time it was some sort of water slug thing (I was at the beach), and then last night it was this cross between a lizard and alligator that could fly.
Both times it hurt really bad, and when I woke up, I had to actually check my feet because I felt like they were still hurting.
I dreamed about bees yesterday, but it was strange.
I can't remember everyone who was in my dream (other than me) but I know my older brother was in there and my sister and someone else (not family related)
Basically, we were in this house and there was an "ants" problem...Over my sister's bed, we noticed that A LOT of Aunt's were crawling in a single line. They were going up the wall, to the ceiling and down again. At first we didn't know what to do, but then we got creeped out and decided to kill them. So we went in the kitchen and got those ant's killing spray thing. Well the thing is, when we got back in the room and got closer to the aunts, they were actually Bee's...they pretty much switched on me and the bees were still going in a single-filed line.
Well my sister and I and the other girls in it went and got my oldest brother to help us get rid of the bees. That's when the bees started flying all over the place.
So basically, they didn't hurt any of us, they were so close to me and my family members, but not one of the bees hurt us. But we were trying to kill them since usually, when one sees bees, they get a bit antsy.
The dream went on for a good bit. The bees didn't really go away, but somehow I woke up and it just kind of stopped.
What does dreaming about bees, not stinging you, but pretty much surrounding you mean?
Example: What does my dream mean?
bug on bathroom floor floor walk ito them
thousands of centipedes and a few ants
dad and mom kill huge mother centipede in bathtub
I leaves the room all tiny centipedes are now in a bag hung in moms closet
then I decide to wash the bathroom floor
I use a ton of water then towel dry it
then I notice a centipede is still alive after al of that
then my mom say she sees ten more
I begin to back up
the centipede I first noticed start flying towards me
I run to the other side of the bed
then it land on my head and is like biting it but it is up like a pencil rather than the usual bite
after that I wake up i have my hand on my head.
I feel that I am lying down sideways, most likely on my bed. It's night time. Where my window should be on my room on the second floor is a closed door OR a fireplace that seems like it's on the first floor. At the foot of the door or the fireplace is literally, just the head of a gigantic lizard or dragon or salamander made from embers and flames and fire. It's staring at me, and it IS alive, not dead. It stares at me intently, and I can make out it's every detail fine, except that I'm NOT staring AT it directly, but rather just past it. Almost like how one would see an aura is how I was clearly looking at this creature.
Then there came a swap of scenes, maybe a change of dream, and I am all of a sudden outside of my house on the side in front of a door that I presume to be the same as the one in my first dream (although this door in real life is just a second door to the garage, very far away from my actual room). I'm with a bunch of other people, young boys around my brothers age to be exact. Supposedly we have sticks in hand we are hunting gigantic spiders. I HATE spiders in real life, so this felt a bit courageous and crazy at the same time. They opened the door, only to find another door right behind it. But between the doors, instead of gigantic spiders (like I would see in dreams of the past), it was a gigantic ant that ran super fast, and as it got closer to us it got clearer that it was pretty big and a bit menacing (about the size of a foot). As it chased after us, I was the first and fastest of the group to begin dashing away to the front yard to jump on my front porch and make it "safe!". Then I woke up, remembering everything.
Additional details, it was my 16th and a 1/2 birthday party last night so I ate loads of candy and 5 slices of pie. I took some tums before going to bed but I fell asleep with a sore stomach. Don't know if this may have any effect on my dreams.
1. I always had a dream where my room was enclosed and there were these things that looked like black cans with sticks attached to the bottom flying around the room and when they landed they would explode in black and the black would consume you. Sometimes there would be human mannequin like figures with no faces, the figures were green or black and they would throw them.
2. I was in a room and I was very angry because something under the floor was taking my stuff and did it when I was not looking, When I was really angry I would go stomp or kick at it and it would pull me under ant I would get trampled by a weird looking horse with no eyes.
3. I was on a mountain and told that "they" were a getting closer and
I was to hide in the bushes and not move I was wearing grayish black and I was scared because when the silhouette like figures came I would become engulfed in black and other people wearing the same colors would too then they would fall or make insane movements like flailing around.
These would always occur when I was 7 and younger over and over. It is weird for a young person to have that but see if you can figure out some. just write the number of the one you mean. Thank you. :)
