so i had this dream me and this woman were in this yard and she dug up something and it was a casket. then we put the dirt back over it...then we saw a light come on and ...i started to run ...i hopped over this barb wire...and then into this other yard...it had this dog...and i had to hold its leash ...and so then somebody brought some other dog in...and it started to growl...then i put it on the back porch...where there was this fence ...and the dog jumped over that fence. i went out front...and gave it some food...then the dream was over. for 6 months i have been questioning my sexuality...i just got over my same sex crush of 3 months...and i'm still trying to figure everything out
well in general dogs in dream represent loyalty and protection, if the dog is more vicious or growling it represents something inside yourself that you have been suppressing. Usually coffins or caskets represent the womb or your fear of death, i think in this case its the womb. The girl digging it up to me anyway seems like it has something to do with things you where born with, like you sexual preferences, that you've been suppressing and now they're coming to the surface.The fact that you put dirt back on top of it shows your not completely ready or comfortable facing it yet maybe. Then you running away is obviously another thing that represents you not being ready and being scared of the emotions you've suppressed. I think the light from the coffin represents the emotions you where trying to pretend didn't exist now coming to life again. the barb wire was probably representing your like difficulty facing the problem or the problems you have with having other people know about what you've suppressed. I know like porch's and decks represent how you present yourself to other people like your facade. The yards might be part of that also if you remember if they're like messy or not that can be important. Messy yards mean you feel your life is out of control. If it was a backyard that represent your uncurious and like your childhood development and memories. maybe the dog jumping over the fence represents a part of you thats accepting what you've been suppressing. then feeding the dog probably showed how you need to fully acknowledge what you've bee suppressing and accept it. In my dream there was this dog in my basement that followed me up the steps that led to the kitchen. The dog was friendly and seemed to cling to me. The dog would go from being a dog into being a man. I tried to tell him I wasn’t his owner and he was a man at this time. Then he turned back into a dog told me to get him some water. So I got him water. Then I got him some water in a plate that had 3 compartments for food. Then someone wanted the dog to leave and the dog said no. And he came to sit by me and I put my arm around him and was petting him. Then the dog told me he had to go to the bathroom, so I took him outside to use the bathroom. My husband's grandmother who happens to be 88 year old has a Parkinson's Disease and Senile Dementia and cannot walk at all has been hallucinating every now and then of a Dog Farm! She claims that there's a man in the dog farm who kills dogs and when they have been butchered, she says that the man is trying to catch her and force her to eat it. She claims that she's dreaming of it too every now and then! Whenever she eats breakfast, lunch and dinner especially when she's just left alone with the carer at home, the carer says that she take out all the food she just newly ate and when asked why is she taking out the food from her mouth given to her, she claims that its dog meat! What could possibly the meaning of this?

had a dream where i was in my home with my family. it was me, my mother sister, my mother's boyfriend, and his daughter. all of a sudden people wearing masks and machettes in their hands starting taking to the streets of my neighborhood and broke into homes and were killing people. I got everyone into the bathroom and got the gun that was under the sink and shot any of the killers that got into the house. after a while, they were called back by someone and left. i took a carepackage and blew a hole into the floor of the bathroom revealing a tunnel that would lead to our escape. Moms boyfriend and his daughter did not wish to go and i didnt make them.
The last thing i remember after that was being in a dark room with a little girl, a woman in a nightgown with blood all over it with a machette of her own, and a mother being held with the knife to her neck. the room is very dark so i dont recognize any of these people. the woman says the girls name, then slits the mother. blood splatters on the walls and before i wake up the woman just stares at me and says nothing.

My precious Maltese/Shih Tzu was put to sleep on Tuesday after his second attack on his kidneys. In January, he was diagnosed with Kidney failure. We kept in at the vets for five days, and to our surprise, his values reversed itself. We brought him home, administered his SubQ every other day, gave him his Azodyl twice a day, and fed him a strict diet of KD wet and dry food. Monday night, he couldn't keep anything down, and on Tuesday, the day of his appointment, he woke up was fine and within a few hours his muscles were trembling, and he had no control of his legs. By the time we got him to the vet he was panting and foaming at the mouth. His kidneys and organs were shutting down. Our Vet said that it was already starting to affect him neurologically, and the next step would be seizures. So, as as heartbreaking as it was, we had to put him down. Anyway, enough of my story. Last night, I was reading and started to fall asleep. I had a flash of Kaipo (my dog) sliding across the floor to his favorite bed pad (but he wouldn't show his face). I woke up and that flash came again. I want to know if anyone knows what that dream might mean?

Ok. I had a fairly disturbing dream last night that I had to kill my childhood dog (who passed away when I was about 8 or 9).
A little background- I am a vegan and a biology major. We did dissections about 2 weeks ago which disturbed me a little bit but I don't know if it has anything to do with my dream. Also, I got in slight tiff with my boyfriend last night and went to bed not feeling very settled while he stayed up all night doing homework.
ANYWAYS the actual dream is this:
I was with a group of people who were kind of like scientists but one was a vegan activist that I recognized. They told me I had to kill my dog and open her stomach. So I cried a lot, had to behead her and open her stomach and take out all of the food she had eaten. It was really graphic and I remember trying to comfort her because her eyes were still blinking even after I cut her head off. I sat with her until she died, crying the whole time. She was a yellow dog who did not look much like my childhood pet but in my dream I acknowledged her as so. I woke up very upset and I am wondering if this could have a deeper meaning other than the fact that I feel guilty about the dissections.
