So big snake under the bed . what does it mean? Seems very Freudian, but if it matters I had a fight with one of my ex long time friends
SNAKE DREAM MEANING
What do dreams about snakes mean?
SNAKE DREAM Mystical Meaning:
Entwined snakes appear on the god Mercury's caduceus, which is a symbol of the medical profession to this day. The Greeks attributed healing powers to the snake and similar symbolism may be found in Indian Kundalini yoga where it represents the life force that rises up the spinal chord. In particular, the cobra is a symbol of divine enlightenment and associated with the god Shiva. There are many strange superstitions about snakes. It was beleived that to see a lone snake and feel threatened by it in a dream or in real life shows that you have a bad enemy that is working against you, it also a warning against bodily harm from an enemy. To dream of many snakes in a pit was also considered to be a foreboding of much bad luck in love or business. If in a snake dream you overcome and kill a threatening snake in your dream, it shows that you will overcome your adversary and win out.

My grandmother passed away on 12/27/2010.
The other night I dreamt that I was in a condo or townhome (a place that I had never been in before) but I knew I owned it. I was taking care of my grandmother. Then she was in the tub and I was trying to bathe her but she looked like she was unconscious, then I was in the tub with her, it was like it was transformed into a large hot tub. I was holding her, carrying her and she became a baby in my arms. I bathed her, wrapped her in a towel and held her close to me. There were other people there, but cannot remember who they were, I was worried that somebody was going to take my grandmother away and I remember trying to make sure they didn’t know she was with me. I kept trying to hide her so that nobody knew she was with me. Just then a door opened and a large man was there, he was not mean, I did not feel scared, nor was he threatening in any way, however next to him was a large looking potato sack, it opened a huge king cobra snake came out. It was as tall as the man, and it spread out it’s hood and showed it’s teeth, I was scared, but at the same time I was not, I felt frozen like I could not move, yet it felt like the snake was talking to me telling me not to be scared, but still I could not move.
My alarm then went off and I woke up……I have not been able to stop thinking about this dream…..please help me.

Example: What do snakes mean in my dreams?
In my dreams/nightmares there are often a lot of snakes, but the snakes are ALWAYS my friends/pets. They are always warm and curl around my neck and arms, or allow me to hold them in my hands. Sometimes they are white, and sometimes they swim in the water.
Often in my nightmares snakes are the only things being friendly towards me while even my boyfriend/friends treat me phenomenally horrible. I am just surprised because I did a little research and found that snakes often mean BAD things in dreams. I just don't think that is the case this time.
What do you think snakes mean in my dreams? I really don't think they symbolize something negative. Also, please don't get mad at me if I put this question in the wrong category! I am very new at this :)
been dreaming about small white snakes for 2 days. I don't remember much about the surroundings. I feel uncomfortable but not totally horrified. One of the snakes was peeking out from something. Only its head shows and it was looking at me innocently. What could be the meaning of this dream?
I was dreaming about some sort of barbeque and my friends mother walked up with a very thin, long and green snake. She was holding a jar as well as the snake and she then proceeded to show me how to 'milk" the snake's venom. After doing so she handed me both items and said that they were mine now. I took them, but i was in constant fear of getting bit by the snake, but i never did. The snake would not leave me either, i tried setting it down, taking it off my arm where it was coiled with my other hand, everything, and the snake would not come off until i rubbed it on the ground, when it started to leave i realized i still wanted it and went after it, and when i grabbed it, it coiled around my arm and there was several painful little pinpoints, but the snake's head was near my fingers and nowhere near the pain. I then looked up and saw my ex girlfriend and her mother and the snake pointed me away from them. Whaty does this mean?
In my dream, I was in my little sisters room, it was very dark, an the whole room was nothing but sheets. When I sat down on the sheets, she told me to look how big her python was, she picked up the stomach (pick a pumpkin thick (circumference) maybe bigger) an I held it. The instance I picked it up the python bite me, an within seconds I was dead...and I woke up in almost tears. What could this possibly mean?
In the dream the python was very black-all one color, an only bite me. It was very long, in the dream she ended up insisting the length was the room, so about 60ft all together (it was bundled up about 3 ft.) the sheets laid on the snake, where we sat.
in my dream i often saw snake swims in stream.
I dream that I'm a rattle snake and in the dream I mesmerize people into thinking I'm a man with maraca's then when I'm close I bite them. This is where it gets strange because once I bite them Its like I'm only wearing a snakes body and I climb out of the rattle snake like its a sleeping bag. But the bitten person is dying and instead of helping them I always fall down and weep over the snakes skin. Then usually the person dying suddenly bites me and I fall on my belly and begin to eat the snakes skin tail first like a burrito. But the person that I had bitten keeps attacking me and instead of fighting them off I have to keep eating the snakes skin like its the most important thing in existence. The most frustrating part is that I can never finish eating the snakes skin because when I get to the end I discover its still attached to me. Thats the part that always makes me wake up, the part where I find out I'm eating my own feet. And the wierd part is the person I bite in the beginning keeps grunting something like, "Or do you? Or oh's don't you?" This dream really frightens me and its been recurring now for a couple months and always wake up feeling a horrible sense of foreboding. I've read some books about dreams even though I mostly think that's a bunch of BS crap but I don't know anymore. Any thoughts?
