Example: What does my nightmare dream mean?
When i was really young like when i was 7 or younger i had such a scary dream that it was almost real in a weird way. I don`t remember what happened the day before and it was not a lucid dream. Here it goes. So i am i am laying in bed sleeping. I remember as though i was in first person view just floating in this completely black place, just staring into the darkness all around me, and this enormous ghostly creature appeared in front of me through the darkness and it was huge and it had a red aurora glow from its chest to the belly with a ghostly fog black fog behind it and it grabbed my rib cage with both hands and started slowly ripping my rib cage open i was so scared that it felt real, almost physical. When i felt this thing almost physically ripping me open i just woke up and faintly screamed it was really stressful. i cant remember what i did after that, i know i told my mother and she said it was just a bad dream but thats weird. to get a good picture of it i found an ogre from the video game dragon age and it looked kind of like that but black with a fog behind him and an aurora glow the colour red, and i don`t remember it having horns. So now i am 16 and i have heard lots on the internet lately about E.T.`s and child abduction. I don`t necessarily believe in believe in aliens because there isn`t any facts but i don`t believe we are the only people with an intelligent mind through out the many galaxies and plants. But what does the dream mean its really weird and i have never heard about people having physical pain in a dream
To see a bed in your dream symbolizes a dependent relationship. You may feel the need to be protected and cared for. Your dream maybe telling you to regain some control and independence in your life. Alternatively, it represents a new project of fresh start.
-A dream that you are floating, whether in the water or in the air, can mean that you have been under a lot of stress, and that you need to relax. You need to let go of some of your responsibilities and let other people take care of things for you.
-Floating in a dream can mean that you wish to let go of some of your inhibitions.
-If you dream that you are floating, you might need to take more responsibility for your future. Your dream could be telling you that you are being too passive. You need to take more control over your life.
-A dream that you are floating can be a sign that you are too indecisive. You should make your own decisions and stop allowing other people to make your decisions for you.
-A dream that you are floating in the air can have a similar meaning to a dream about flying. It can mean that you are feeling trapped or unable to express yourself.
Dreaming of darkness could be calling your attention to a fear you have that needs to be dealt with. Darkness also hides one’s surroundings, and so darkness in a dream could indicate that you are “in the dark” about something, and need to find the truth.
The ghosts are representing a part of you that is unclear and that you do not understand. At times, ghosts represent those things that unattainable or fleeting. Demonic type of ghost images may represent your negative tendencies, unpleasant parts of personality or your "shadow." Old superstition based dream interpretations say that dreaming of friendly ghosts is a lucky omen, and that you should be receiving unexpected good luck. On the other hand, if you were very frightened by the ghost in your dream, then others will try to impose their will on you and you must be vigilant in order to stand up to it.
A rib in a dream is usually a pun on something that is upsetting you – something is ribbing you.
If we were to ask ourselves what are the effects of nightmares, we could say that they give us an amazing opportunity for self knowledge and understanding and also the opportunity to overcome the issue and move forward in life. Nightmares give us the chance for deep healing to occur. Nightmares can also occur when we have physiological disturbances while we are asleep. For instance being too hot, too cold, having a fever, having ingested a lot of alcohol or drugs or starting a new medication.
Specific nightmares can often be recurring. Once you address the issues in your bad dream and understand your nightmare you will not have it again. This may be motivation enough to acknowledge the problems your nightmare is bringing to your attention.
Example: What could my dream mean?
I dreamt that I was going up into the sky on a machine, to take wires down, but I wasn't strapped in, and could feel myself slipping and getting higher (I'm afraid of heights)
Then I dreamt people were going up stairs and jumping off into the ocean, i decided to go as my mum was up there. Then when I got there, she was too scared, the ocean changed and she did it anyway... Then something happened, and her brain and eyeballs came out, and her body was floating behind us. We had to put her back together but she wasn't the same.
I also dreamt my daughters was running away in the snow (I only have one child, but am suspicious i could be pregnant) and I couldn't keep up with them both, I knew I had to lose one of them.
What could this mean?
Example: What does my dream mean?
A while ago I had a dream and it was one of those that feels very real so that when you wake up you're really disorientated and it takes you a long time to realise that you're back in the real world again. It made me feel really strange afterwards.
I dreamt that me and my cousin were being chased through a city, it looked like Masyaf or somewhere similar back in roughly 1000AD. The chasers were shooting arrows at us and narrowly missing. My cousin and I ducked into a house to escape them but they were closing in on us and there was nowhere left for us to hide. We lay on the floor with our hands over our heads waiting to be killed, but we weren't. When I looked up there was a man standing in front of us, protecting us. He leapt in front of the arrows and was killed. My cousin and I were saved, and then I woke up.
I know what you're all going to say when you read this, but, even though there was no evidence for it I knew that the man that saved us was Jesus.
I'm not religious in any way, I never have been. I'm not against religion and feel that if people need something to believe in then as long as it doesn't harm anyone and they don't push it on me, it's fine, but I don't personally believe in any 'higher power'.
So, any idea what it means?
Example: What could my dream mean?
Last night I dreamed that me and my husband were laying in bed, he got up to close the door and he ran back to the bed scared and sat on the bed and like was frozen stiff. I was laying there asking him what was wrong when a blue glowing light came into the room. Then a ghost woman wearing black was standing at the end of the bed and I asked what she wanted grabbed my ankle and told me to come on. Right after that I woke up. Can anyone help interpret this for me, I'm puzzled.

Today I had a dream about aliens. Me and some of my friends were abducted.
While in their spaceship we flew over the world. I remember it being cold, gray, and crowded. I remember us being over Paris for a long time. The sky was orange and the world looked busy. Cars and people moving fast. I had my cell phone and the whole time I was trying to contact my family to tell them I love them but I kept losing signal.
Next thing I knew they had use working out and training as if we were preparing for a war.
The last thing I remember is that everyones bodies had been transformed as if we were superhuman. Like we were unstoppable and could take on anything.
Lately I've been watching UFO hunters and Ancient Aliens.
Example: What does my dream mean?
I had this strange dream last night and was wondering if anyone knows what it means.
I was in a hospital on the maternity wing in a bed near a window and I had just given birth to a son who was in a cot next to me by the window and my parents were on the other side of my bad, I was still in labour with my second child. I looked out the window and saw a large plane crash into a field near the hospital, my parents got up and ran out the fire exit (my mums a nurse so she probably went to help the injured and my dad helps if he can), I turned to look out the window and saw the plane was sliding towards the hospital. I screamed, jumped out of bed and picked up my son. I ran for the fire exit but heard the plane crash through the wall behind me so I jumped onto the floor and bent over my son to protect him as debris fell around us. I managed to free myself from the debris, looked at my son to see if he was ok and saw three cuts on his forehead that formed a shape similar to Harry Potters scar. A news crew turned up and asked me for an interview but that's when I woke up.
I'm really confused because I don't have kids and i'm not pregnant so what does it mean?
I had a dream i was abducted by aliens (who had secretly infiltrated the chinese government) and taken to their strange space ship, where there were several other hundred people. All we did all day was sit around and watch the tv, which made no sense because all they showed were random clips from old tv shows, many not even in english. I suspected that the tv was trying to brainwash us so I tried to avoid it.
Also, in the middle of this big hall where we were kept there was a pool of purple/lavender liquid crystal, in which there was a statue which I thought looked like Charlize Theron, and upon closer observation I realize that is was her--for real--and that the crystal was slowly absorbing her. It was really creepy because I was looking at the statue and then it moved slightly to look at me. I noticed that people avoided the pool, which was odd because it the was the only interesting thing in the place, and then realized why when when Charlize exploded, sending a shower of purple crystal liquid everywhere, some got on my shirt and then people screamed at me not to let is touch my skin because if it did then it would start to eat me and I would end up being the next 'statue' so I managed to get the shirt off, but got some on my hands and so had to hide them because I was afraid of what would happen if they realized i had been 'infected'
Also, when I was first brought in and still disoriented some random person came up to me and stuffed some folded papers in my hand, and told me I had to hide them and not let the aliens (who looked like 80's era communist chinese soldiers) to get the papers, a few minutes later the guards caught him and they started searching the other prisoners to find the papers, and strangely enought I ran into some of people I used to know from highschool up there so I gave each person one sheet and told them to hide it and not to tell me where so if one of us got caught we would't know where the other sheets were (the sheets had some sort of scientific diagrams on them which didn't make sense to me, though i think it may have been the spaceship blueprints so maye an escape route/plan?) so I spent my time trying to figure out where to hid my sheet since there wasn't many places to hide, beign a prison and all.
Totally radom eh?
Example: Abduction Dream?
It started with me getting out from bed then suddenly I realised I was been escorted to these hovering seats which took me to this round meeting table with several other people. Then this man walked in and showed us some clips of various locatins on Earth and we were allowed to ask questions on it. The next thing I realised was we were all injected with something that made us pass out and I woke up in my bed. I had this dream several times while I was asleep. I also thought I had come out of the dream but the same thing happend again. Any idea what this could mean?
The last few nights I have been woken by the same dream. I'm in my apartment alone and adleep. When a slight noise wakes me up, next thing I know these strange creatures are looking at me. At this point I'm too terrified to scream. That's not the terrifying part. Next thing I know I am in their ship and see other people I have never met, getting stuck and mutilated by these things that are our abducters. Before I know it, it's my turn. I'm lying on their table with blood from the previous occupant still on it. Then I wake up sweating and terrified. What's funny is, I have not watched any movies with aliens or blood for over a week. In fact last night I watched The Princess Diaries. I'm not easily spooked by dreams. But this one terrifies me. Help!
